When you are deciding how to market yourself online do not forget that about half of all Google clicks come from mobile devices. Restaurants are especially prone to mobile searches, so make sure you have this accounted for in your advertising strategy. If you are using PPC or geo-targeted ads make sure you enable them on mobile devices. People especially use sites like Yelp on their phones more than on a desktop.

If you want to save money on advertising one way to do so is to cut out desktop searches and enable mobile searches only.
